Madhav Sheth postponed Realme Narzo series smartphone sales due to coronavirus.

Realme's new Narzo smartphone series was scheduled to launch on 26 March, but due to the severity of the fast-pandering epidemic currently in India, CEO Madhav Sheth has announced that Realme will postpone the sale of new smartphones.Sheth also announced that Realme's 'Make in India' manufacturing facility will be closed for some time, until it receives further notice from the government.Finally, he also announced that all the employees of Realme will get the facility to work from home.

Sheth tweeted this announcement today in hopes of curbing the spread of the coronovirus epidemic.In his tweet, he specifically mentioned that the "sale" of the new Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones would be postponed but did not mention anything about the launch. It is possible that Realme may still officially announce the phone on 26 March and start selling from next month, after which the country's lockdown has been relaxed slightly. He also mentioned that the operation of Realme's mentioned 'Make in India' facility will be stopped till future directions of the government.The current lockdown mode in all major states states that all non-essential services have been halted to try and prevent the spread of coronavirus.Sheth also mentioned in his tweet that all employees would be able to work from home, limiting their exposure to other colleagues.
