Realme 5i will launch on 9 January. It has a quad camera setup and 5000mAh battery.

Realme has launched its first smartphone of the year, Realme 5i in Vietnam, India launch of this phone will be expected on 9 January this week.In terms of hardware, this brings it down slightly compared to Realme 5.

Nevertheless, Realme has chosen to equip the phone with a quad rear camera which includes dedicated wide-angle and macro lenses. Another major attraction of the phone is its massive 5,000mAh battery and a 6.52 inch display with a waterdrop notch.

The phone has been announced in two variants with an entry price of VND 3,690,000 (about Rs 11,999). This special variant comes with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage.The second variant brings with it 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and is priced at VND 4,290,000 (about Rs 13,999).Both RAM and storage variants will be available in blue and green color options, and will be sold through several online retailers in Vietnam.

The specifications of the phone are as expected and make Realme 5i like the down version of Realme 5. Speaking of Specs, Realme 5i has a waterdrop with a 6.52-inch HD + (720 x 1600 pixels) display. Under the hood, the phone brings with it a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In terms of cameras, the phone comes with 12-megapixel primary camera with 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor and 2-megapixel primary camera to complete the quad-camera set-up.

The company has decided to put an 8-megapixel selfie lens on the front of Realme 5i.Keeping the lights on the Realme 5i is a 5,000mAh battery given to run this device with Android Pie based ColorOS 6.0.1.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and GPS.Realme 5i sensors include compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope and fingerprint sensor for authentication.
